Development of Australia’s first online studio management software for photographers is underway!

Thanks for your patience up until this point! Lots has been happening with Studio Ninja and there are some very exciting times ahead!

Firstly, I would like to announce that I have a couple of new additions to the team at Studio Ninja:

Meet Yuan Wang: UX Specialist

Yuan has 12 years of experience in user interface design and user experience design. In a nutshell he is in the process of redesigning my original layouts to dramatically improve the interaction between the user and the product. He is going to make Studio Ninja even easier to navigate, improve the usability, accessibility, simplicity and overall pleasure in using the software.

Meet Simon East: Developer Extraordinaire

Simon has 18 years of experience in programming, front and back end software engineering, user experience, databases, server architecture, mobile and responsive development, and has heaps of experience in looking for new ways to compete in an ever-changing digital market. Simon will be in charge or keeping the developers in line, auditing the code, implementing security and basically overseeing the technical side of Studio Ninja.

So, the development is under way, going very well and we have achieved some milestones. The foundation and architecture of the software has been built and implemented (which took the most time). We have also created the ‘sign up as a new user’ and ‘sign in as an existing user’ pages. This also includes implementing security. Now the developers are working through the functionality and photographer settings of Studio Ninja. At this stage that includes inputting Company Information and branding/logos for invoices etc.

Progress is going well and now that the foundation has been built the rest will come together quickly.
