Studio Ninja was founded in Melbourne by wedding photographer Chris Garbacz and UX designer Yuan Wang. After a decade of shooting over 60 weddings a year, Chris saw firsthand how admin overwhelm can drain creativity and energy. Frustrated by software that didn't work for photographers, he teamed up with Yuan to design a solution that was simple, powerful, and purpose-built.
That mission remains at the heart of what we do today — helping photographers run efficient, professional businesses without the stress.
In 2023, Studio Ninja was acquired by Captura, a global leader in ecommerce solutions for high volume photographers. This partnership brings enhanced stability, deeper resources, and a renewed commitment to long-term innovation.
